The Atlanta Logic Pro Users Group is organized and hosted by Booker Edwards founder of Illyaas Recordings and faculty member in the audio program at The Art Institute of Atlanta.  Booker is also an Apple Certified Trainer in Logic Pro. Founded in February 2009 the Atlanta Logic Pro Users Group is focused on bringing together composers, engineers, songwriters, beat makers, musicians, producers, sound designers, educators and any one else who uses Apple’s Logic Studio as a means of creative expression.

Our meetings are both entertaining and informative, a place where Logic Users can meet, network, share ideas and techniques, learn from each other, and grow as Logic Pro users.  We have speakers, trainers and professionals who specialize in using Logic for varying purposes, from music creation, editing, and mixing to sound design, post production, and surround mixing just to name a few.  We have representatives from third party software and hardware developers, like Apogee, Euphonix, Redmatica, Native Instruments, I.K. Multimedia and many more, come to our meetings and demonstrate the benefits of using their product with Logic Pro. We also hold clinics and workshops to educate users on the many, many tools in Logic Studio and how they can be used to enhance your work flow.  All of our meetings are free and open to the public.

This webpage is where you can stay abreast of meeting dates, information from past meetings and events, links to Logic resources and tutorials.  There is also a tutorials page where I upload video tutorials for Logic Pro. Any video tutorials you may have that would be beneficial to the group, please send them to me and I will post them also.  There is a blog page which I update as often as possible with any news for the group, information about meeting times and locations, and any other information that I feel is valuable to the group.  You are able to subscribe to the blog through RSS feed that way you will always be notified whenever the blog is updated.  Any feedback on the webpage,  ideas for the users group, advice, critiques, or criticisms are welcome.  Please feel free to email me your thoughts or anything to assist in making this the best resource possible.  My email address is below.
